It may seem like common knowledge, but doing what I do, I’ve realized that people don’t really know what the right etiquette is when it comes to RSVPing to events (especially weddings). Do you take a date? Do you not take a date?
Here are a few tips to help you navigate your way through the uncertainty of how to handle invitations. Once you receive an invitation, the first thing you should do is see who it is addressed to. Is it addressed to only you? If you are single it may be addressed to you and look something like this”Ms. Pilar Spencer.” This means you are the only one invited and no you may not take a date.
